In many new building projects, an architect is usually the lead design professional. In these cases, United Professional Engineering acts as a sub-consultant to the architect. Our team is brought into the project after the building has been schematically designed, then we work with the architect to ensure that the building they have designed will stand. However, in the case such as industrial buildings, United Professional Engineering is sometimes the lead engineer and the lead building designer.
